Up to $75,000+ First Year with No Experience:


  • Paid Training and Certification. Industry leading Benefits Package. $15/hour during training starting pay with 4 raise points through training and certification period. Uncapped overtime and paid 1 hour lunches. Signing bonus only applies to applicants with professional garage door experience. Monthly bonuses based on personal and company goals. Apprentices average 65 hours per week and work every Saturday. Once hatched in your own truck you can choose to have one day off per week, and work every other Saturday. Schedule flexibility may apply as you become more experienced.


Up to $100,000+ with Garage Door Installation Experience:


  • 1+ years of Experience at reputable garage door company: $5,000 bonus after 6 months employment, pay starts at $18.00/hr. Monthly bonuses based on personal and company goals. Paid certification and expedited re-training. Most of our Senior Certified Service Professionals average $100,000+. Industry leading Benefits Package. Uncapped overtime and paid 1 hour lunches. One day off per week, and only work every other Saturday. Schedule flexibility may apply for experienced technicians.


  • 3+ years of Experience at reputable garage door company: $10,000 bonus after 6 months employment, pay starts at $20.00/hr. Monthly bonuses based on personal and company goals. Paid certification and expedited re-training. Most of our Senior Certified Service Professionals average $100,000+. Industry leading Benefits Package. Uncapped overtime and paid 1 hour lunches. One day off per week, and only work every other Saturday. Schedule flexibility may apply for experienced technicians.

Basic Requirements  


  • Lift 75lbs off of ground and above your head 
  • Stand, bend, climb, kneel for long periods and climb ladders
  • Able to work in extreme heat and cold
  • Valid driver’s license for 3+ years with a clean driving record
  • Pass a 7 year comprehensive background check 
  • Pass drug test (not including THC or prescribed medications)
  • Eligible to legally work in the United States
  • Refrain from smoking in company vehicle or at jobs, which is most of your day
  • Pass criminal background check 
  • Experience with power tools and hand tools 
  • Knowledge of basic cell phone and navigation apps

Required Hours


  • During Training: 7:00-6:00 or later Monday through Friday. 7:00-4:00 Every Saturday.
  • Once Trained: 7:30-6:00 or later Monday through Friday. 7:00-4:00 Every Other Saturday.
  • Once Trained: One day off per week is optional.
  • Schedule flexibility may apply for experienced technicians.
  • Thursday Morning Meetings at 7:00am are mandatory.


Training


  • Train for 3 to 6 weeks as you ride with our top performers until you are ready to try things for yourself under supervision.
  • Work through our Plano Overhead Garage Door Service Professional Test with your trainers and make corrections until you make a 100. You get a raise when you have completed it!
  • Complete our detailed Training Checklist with the help of your Trainers. You get a raise once you have completed the checklist!
  • Top performers then shadow you as you drive your own truck, run your own jobs through our software, interact with customers as the primary, diagnose the problems, and suggest upgrades.
  • You then get your own truck that has absolutely everything you need for 99% of the jobs we run into so that you don't have to chase down parts. You get a raise once you get your own truck and run jobs by yourself!
  • Pass the Institute of Door Dealer Accreditation and Education Certification test. We fully prepare you, and only one person has failed it in the past 10 years. Once you pass, you are fully certified and get another raise!

 

Job Tasks


  • Remove residential garage doors, openers, and related components
  • Install residential garage doors, openers, and related components
  • Replace worn or broken residential garage door and opener parts and electronics 
  • Perform service on residential garage doors and openers
  • Educate customers on upgrade options, services and ensure satisfaction 
  • Accurately document activities and pictures related to service and installations 
  • Dispose of uninstalled garage door and opener parts at our warehouse
  • Restock your company vehicle and maintain cleanliness daily
