SERVICE TECHNICIAN APPLICATION

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE APPLICATION

SERVICE TECNICIANS ($60,000 – $70,000+ plus Benefits)

✔ About the Position:

We are looking for full-time service technicians that want to work at an award-winning locally family owned garage door company that’s been in business since 1977 and has 30 employees. All of our residential garage door technicians service, repair, and replace residential garage doors and openers. Every tech is trained in sales, installation, and repair to become certified. Masks are not required unless requested by homeowners. Vaccines are not mandatory. We are an essential business and did not slow down operations due to Covid-19.

Truck, tools, gas, uniform, materials, and parts are provided and housed at our 20,000SF warehouse.

You’ll be trained for 3 to 6 weeks by our top performers and then get your own truck that has absolutely everything you need for 99% of the jobs we run into so that you don’t have to chase down parts. You will then study for and achieve certification from the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA). Most of our technicians had never touched a garage door before we trained them, and now they’re all in the top 5% of garage door installers nationwide thanks to their certification.

All of our trucks have a full schedule every day, so you won’t have to sit around and wait on jobs to be dispatched or worry about not getting enough hours. There’s no time for Facebook when you’re in our trucks so the days go by fast! Our service area is limited to Collin and Northern Dallas County and we have 18 trucks, so you won’t have to drive across the metroplex all day.

-Positive attitude

-Experience working in extreme heat and cold
-Basic tool knowledge
-Pass a drug test and background check (no felonies)
-Clean driving record (3 years without a ticket)
-Valid Texas driver’s license

⏰ Hours:

7:30am-6:00pm Monday – Friday. Sometimes techs get done at 5:15pm, sometimes as late as 9:00pm. Most of our techs get done between 5:30 and 6:30 on weekdays.

7:30am-4:00pm every other Saturday. Some techs elect to work every Saturday but it is not required. Sometimes techs get done at 3:15pm, sometimes as late as 6:00pm. Most of our techs get done between 4:00 and 4:30 on Saturdays.

7:00am Technician Meetings on Thursday mornings.

As a service business, there are times where our technicians end up working later than usual to get all of their jobs for the day finished. Our technicians work an average of 65 hours per week and get paid good honest money to serve our customers with top quality service, repairs, and installations.

💰 Pay and Perks:

$60,000-$70,000+ during first year. We have had technicians make over $80,000 during their first year by selling ethically and effectively, meeting company and personal goals, and opting to work every Saturday.

Monthly company bonuses are based on a team goal as well as personal sales and are up to $2,000+.

Pay starts at $14.50/hr paid weekly with direct deposit option. Raises come after being hatched into your own truck, again once you pass the certification test, and then based on performance and tenure.

Lunches are 1 hour and are paid. 30 minutes paid lunch on Saturday due to shortened schedules.

50% of medical and dental insurance is covered.

Life insurance provided.

3% retirement matching after 1st year.

Vacation time increases with tenure up to 3 weeks per year.

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES ($55,000 – $65,000+ plus Benefits)

 ✔ About the Position:

We are looking for a full-time customer service representative that wants to work at an award-winning locally family owned garage door company that’s been in business since 1977 and has 30 employees.

This job entails answering phones, scheduling customers through our scheduling software, helping customers with retail purchases, and performing administrative duties. Masks are not required unless helping a retail customer. Vaccines are not mandatory. We are an essential business and did not slow down operations due to Covid-19. No cold-calling or hard selling required because we have enough work to keep us busy year-round. Hardly ever are our customers upset, because we deliver on our promises and our customers respect our reputation because of it!
