We studied as a team over the past 4 months and spent over 30 hours in meetings going through 400 pages of material in our Service Technician Manual, in addition to the 200 pages of material provided by the Institute of Door Dealer Education and Accreditation. Certification isn’t required in Texas, and less than 5% of garage door companies in Texas employ I.D.E.A. Certified technicians; but we were up for the challenge!

According to the I.D.E.A., we are now the first company in the United States with over 5 employees to have every technician pass their exam to become certified on the first try!

All of our service technicians are also professionally field trained, Google Verified, background checked, drug tested, fully insured, and are full-time employees. Since 1977, our technicians have provided award-winning service, repairs, and installations in the Dallas area. They install only the top product lines from the leading suppliers of both garage doors and garage door openers. All of this is in addition to our free in-home estimates, same day scheduling, and award-winning service!

We continually invest in our people and our process. We recently invested in Surewinders for all our technicians. They are made from aircraft grade aluminum and are actually now the most expensive tool that they use. Surewinders allow our installers to safely wind and unwind torsion springs and prevent rotator cuff injuries from winding springs all day the old way with steel rods. It also prevents the serious hand, face, and other injuries that we used to have from springs breaking while being adjusted.

We also invested in software that sends a text message with a picture and bio of our technician when customers schedule an appointment. Customers also get a link to recent reviews written about their installer, and a link that lets you track the technician in real time on Google Maps when in route to your home.
