What is the Model 2283?

If you are looking a great insulated garage door that is dependable, reliable, and durable, the CHI Model 2283 is the door you need! CHI manufacturing company based out of Illinois, is a company that provided us with this double-back steel door. The Model 2283 door sections are formed from 27 gauge galvanized draw quality steel. The section joints are rolled-formed into a tongue-and-groove design which produces a superior weather seal. The rollers are long-lasting to ensure consistent, efficient operation. The bottom weather seal utilizes an aluminum retainer and extruded vinyl. Concealed steel plates run continuously from top to bottom of each section for fastening hardware. It comes with commercial grade torsion springs that are coated and individually calibrated to open your garage door.

Different color options

The different color options that you can choose with the CHI Model 2283 are:

4. Brown

8. Desert Tan

Our company does keep the White, Almond, Sandstone and Brown in stock at our warehouse. The other colors would be a special order but they are the same price as the other colors and it is only 10 business days wait for us to get the door in from CHI.

Glass/Window options

Depending on what size door you have determines how many windows you have the option of getting. The standard 2 garage door (16×7), you can choose either 4 or 8 pieces of glass. Once you choose how many pieces of glass you want, then you can choose what kind of window style you could like to go with on your garage door.
